The Burlington County Firefighters' Association - Mission Statement


The Burlington County Firefighters' Association of the State of New Jersey was organized at Relief Engine Company on Chester Avenue in Moorestown on November 17, 1915.  The date, November 17, was the third Wednesday of November in 1915.  The third Wednesday of each month is still the traditional meeting day for the Firefighters Association.


The mission of this organization shall be to provide the fire service throughout the County with information, education, service and representation to enhance their professionalism, well-being and capabilities to protect citizens from the devastation of fire, environmental, and natural emergencies.


The Association shall serve as a recognized organization for the exchange of ideas, information, knowledge, and experience in the promotion of legislation in the areas affecting the good and welfare of all firefighters and fire organizations.


All incorporated Fire Companies in Burlington County are eligible for membership.  Any member of said company shall be considered a delegate to this association.  The meetings of the Association shall be held on the third Wednesday of each month at 8:00 p.m.
